Yesterday, I was getting ready to write a long post (rant) on Facebook and then I remembered that I have a blog. I haven't posted anything on this blog for a very long time. This is not the blog entry that I was composing in my head yesterday. And that entry, which I suspect will be coming soon, is not completely in character for how I have used this blog before. I sense a evolution coming. I am still "Reverend Mom"--still a pastor and still a mom--but my kids are grown and (thankfully for them and for me) they don't live in our house any more. That role and those relationships have definitely evolved. I am pastoring a congregation in a world that seems to be changing dramatically daily. Trying to traverse that is challenging, to say the least. I am now exploring whether or not a blog may be a good outlet right now. I guess we'll see.(Photo, I'm the one on the left)
